Card and Games [latest news]

Bridge classes - 10-week courses periodically through the year at beginner and intermediate levels.

Social Bridge - meets every Wednesday and Sunday from 12.30-3.30 pm.

Games events - poker, mah jongg, scrabble on an ad hoc basis.

 

Fitness and Dance [latest news]

Line Dancing - Thursday afternoons, at both beginner and intermediate levels.

Mind-Body Dance held on Wednesday mornings, is an hour of expression through movement and a fun way to get fit and relieve stress.

Yoga classes are held thoughout the week, all levels and ages.

T'ai Chi - 'short form' is accessible to all levels, enabling participants to enjoy the beneftis eof T'ai Chi without needing to memorize a lengthy choreography.

 

Literature and The Arts [latest news]

pictureBook clubs -meet monthly - Tuesday afternoon at 2pm on second week of the month; Wednesday evenings at in first week of the month.

Readers theatre - an opportunity for armchair actors to practice without the stress of line memorization or extensive preparation.

Art courses - held periodically throughout the year - may include drawing, painting and sculpture.

French - classes and conversation group - beginner and intermediate.

Italian - beginner and intermediate.

Spanish - beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, both conversation and grammar.

pictureComputer use - classes are held on Tuesdays throughout the year, and members can use the computer lab at any time at no charge.

Investment club  - Bryan Gould of Morgan Stanley advises on strategies and trends; 2pm second Tuesday of the month.
